Cutting Down on Coke

Looked in the mirror the other day and saw my skin was getting bad (due to the 2litres of coke I drink perday) so i'm cutting down. So far ive been drinking water all day, I had orange and peach flavoured water in the morning (which was alright but left my mouth dry) and then a normal bottle of water at lunch, I feel pretty good, as much as I long for a cold bottle of coke right now. It's cheaper than coke aswell which is decent, means in the long run ill be saving money (I sound like such a cheap bastard).

Well i'll perhaps keep uptodate posts on any progress of this but so far its going good....craving for coke is growing tho.... :(

Update on me

Not posted in a long time (not that anyone reads this or anything) just been a busy week. I was gonna put a few blogs about the weather etc but really couldn't be arsed. I'm sitting here with my bed cover wrapped around me and a can of coke to keep me awake.

Well yeah the weather...
Its a pure pisstake, we go through each season perday. Winter in the morning, spring in the afternoon and summer in the late afternoon and autumn in the evening. I can't even leave the house for college wearing the right clothes cause later that day im either freezing or sweating!...sake

Theres loads of random things happening in my life right now, just dealing with them as they come. I get paid on tuesday/wednesday so hopefully I can enjoy myself more

eBay users rant

Sitting at work today and got an email from an eBay customer saying "I bought this cap TaylorMade r7 cap (Small) but it keeps insisting that I buy small but i want large"

I was like oh for fuck sake, some of these people who use ebay are idiots they cant even read the fucking title of the item they are looking at im suprised they knew how to turn their computers on. Can't say much else but these people are idiots nuff said.

Cadbury's Wispa

At work today and I headed up to the post office to hand over the stuff to get posted for eBay, as I was walking out I spotted the long awaited return of the Cadbury's Wispa, I was like "am havin' me one of those". Not had a wispa in yeeaars, I remember the Wispa Gold and the Wispa mint but they only had the normal wispa in the shop, I was slightly dissapointed but nevertheless happy that I found one. Got back to work and devoured that bad boy, and let me tell you it was fucking delicious...and yeah I also took a picture of it to show you guys

Sennheiser CX300 Rant: Part 2

Lesson learned...never buy headphones with detatchable parts, with this being my second set of Sennheiser headphones with detachable parts all that happens is that the rubber bits that come off just come off at random and then you loose them, all your left with is a painful bit of plastic you have to stick in your ear if you wnt to listen to music.

Meet the Natives

I was lying in bed the other night flicking through the channels when I came across channel 4's Meet the Natives at first it looked like a nature program but NO I was wrong. What they were actually doing was taking some tribes people from a tribe in a rain forest somewhere and sending to the UK to learn about our culture.

Once I hered this I thought "oh ya dancer this sounds really interesting to see how they react to our culture". Sadly I was soon let down slightly, when they got to the UK they were sent to Manchester....sorry what? That's right they took the tribes people, sent them to the UK and papped them in a shitehole like Manchester, what a fantastic way to put a good impression on our culture. I'll admit Ive never been to Manchester but from what I've heard from people and seen on the TV...it's a shitehole.

They reached the house of the family they would be staying with (which was a council house...I think) they were welcomed inside and offered a drink of Vimto which then one of the tribes men commentated "we were welcomed inside their home and given a traditional welcoming drink of Vimto" 'traditional welcoming drink'?! by this time I had my head in my hands thinking "oh for fucks sake, what next?". Oh I didn't need to wait long for the next fuck-up... the wife of the house then offered them a cigarette each. Now I was fucking raging, just wanted to hit her...actually. I'm not a woman beater but this big fat bitch was really annoying me. I'm glad these wankers ain't running this country...seriously.


It wasn't all pain and misery tho, they took the tribes men outside and put them on their trampoline, their faces were a picture, they thought it was some sort of magical thing lol.

Into the city centre of Manchester they went, sadly they didn't show much footage but it was interesting to see their reaction to different races of people living in the same place and the fact there was homeless people. In their country everyone has a home and nobody is really richer then someone else, so this confused them a little.


Gotta give it to Channel 4 tho, another great program with its fuck-ups, apparently this is a first in a series so I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the episodes and of course if needs be having a rant about them to.

Whats really started to annoy me recently is where people put thier feet together and take a picture of their feet, why?? lol. Right enough if one person did it but everyone is doing it! Jeeeesso guys think of new picture ideas please!! lol

I needed a picture for this so onto MySpace I went, running through my friends clicking on random profiles thinking "cmon ya bastards one of you must have a picture of ur feet" sadly no luck...not giving up yet so on Msn I went and finally i managed to get a picture:

Bioshock

Just completed Bioshock there and I must say...what a game that was. The graphics were so impressive (which sadly I couldn't enjoy to their full as my pc is getting quite old) compared to other games i've played this was completely different. The game isn't that long but it is a game you can play over and over and if you do things different you experience the game different. I can't wait to get a new pc and play this on full detail. It is a game I would reccomend to anyone (well anyone that has a fast pc lol). It gets quite freaky at times but all in all its worth it. One feature i loves was the ability to use special powers like ice and fire.

Once you play the game you can relise why they gave it 10/10

Sennheiser CX300 Review/Rant

My old Sony MDRED21LP earphones went bust last week (as all Sony earphones do after a while, they just stop working lol).

I then ventured onto the internet in search of new headphones, Sennheiser had made a good impression on me as I had bought the PC160 headset and it was pretty good. I cam aross the CX300 earphones on scan.co.uk and they seemed pretty good (they cost £28.51 which was a tiny bit too much for some earphones for me anyway so I had a search on eBay and found some for £9.99)



When I got them through the post I checked them to see if they were genuine (which thankfully they were). Plugged them into my iPod and had a listen, I noticed straight away the sound from them sounded really sharp and my music felt lifeless, due to this I had to set the bass booster on the EQ settings of my iPod to get decent sound. Also the earphones are set up so one earphone is longer than the other (so you can wrap the bloody thing round your neck) personally i'm not a fan of this and which nobody took the decency to mention this on any website. Also the cable in total is too short! I can't even have the iPod in my hoodie pocket without them being pulled out my ears.

These headphones just frustrate me :(

I'm going to stick with them for now untill I can't stand them anymore, then i'm going to buy another pair of Sony MDRED21LP earphones which in my view are the best for value and sound for any person using an iPod or personal music player :)

Apple Release New iPods

About a year has passed and Apple have now released their new iPods!

The Shuffle isn't much different it now comes in different colours (sadly less cheery colours than before!)

The new nano has now got video support and has a sleeker design.

The video iPod now called the 'iPod Classic' has up to 160GB storage and has an improved GUI.

Last but not least the iPod touch, looks exactly like an iPhone but its an iPod...well a pocket pc really. It has wifi support and of course it has a marvelous touch screen, sadly it only goes up to 16GB (which isn't enough to hold my music sadly.)

Over all the one i'd go for is the Classic iPod but i'm gonna stick with my current iPod Video for the moment as the only differences is the design and the GUI. The nano looks amazing and i'm sure it would be great to have but I always like to have all my music with me at all times and that exceeds 30GB so the nano sadly wouldn't be much help.
